Dreamy Blues, Greens & Gold Acrylic Pour Painting 🌊 Intuitive Fluid Art Welcome to another fluid art adventure! 🎨 In today’s video, I’m creating a dreamy abstract piece using shades of blue, green, and metallic gold. But as every fluid artist knows, things don't always go according to plan! I originally started this session by pouring the split cup over a sink strainer. Honestly? I really didn't like how it was turning out. Instead of giving up, I decided to trust the process with a classic split cup pour instead. The final result is absolutely mesmerizingβ€”the way the gold feathers through the deep ocean blues created the most beautiful, organic wave patterns. It just goes to show that letting go of the initial plan can lead to something even better! Hypnotic Sink Strainer Acrylic Pour | Relaxing Fluid Art Personally, this painting reminds me of an ocean viewed from spaceβ€”deep blue water, glowing turquoise currents, and touches of gold like sunlight reflecting off the surface. I mixed my acrylic paints with water in 1:1 ratio and added a splash of Vallejo Polyurethane satin varnish in all the colours. This Sink strainer acrylic pour really caught me by surprise! I mixed my acrylic paints with water in 1:1 ratio and added a splash of Vallejo Polyurethane satin varnish in all the colours. I used Amsterdam Phtalo prussian blue, Carmine, Nikel titanium yellow, and Titanium white, Pebeo iridescent gold and FolkArt Aquaflash, TriArt Cobalt Turquoise. I added my Pearl white mixture first and than other colours which created that cloudy mystery look. I saw a wildflower in the beginning, but more I look at her, she reminds me more of a Butterfly Nebula.
